The Northeastern University accelerated BSN program for non-nurses offers a transfer and second-degree BSN path, making earning a quality Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree possible in as few as 16 months. Best of all, you can start the hybrid online program as soon as you’re ready!
By offering three start dates a year — in January, May, and September — at our ABSN program sites near Boston, Massachusetts, Providence, Rhode Island, and in Charlotte, North Carolina, we can enroll a high number of qualified students into our accelerated BSN program annually.

As a full-time student in the accelerated nursing program, you’ll complete a rigorous blend of online and onsite curriculum over four semesters. Our blended online learning model incorporates both academic coursework and experiential learning. It’s a tough academic path, but it prepares you to enter the profession as a confident, practice-ready nurse.
Northeastern ABSN Student Scholarships
To support new nursing students, Northeastern University’s accelerated BSN program near Boston, Providence and in Charlotte automatically provide scholarships to newly admitted students, dispersed over four semesters.
Students enrolled in the ABSN program at Northeastern University near Boston or Providence receive a $15,000 scholarship. At Northeastern University-Charlotte, ABSN students receive a $26,000 scholarship and an additional $10,000 to select students based on their educational background.
